91 gt...at idle, everything shows up good but as i start to drive and raise the rmp, the battery light starts dim and get bright as rmp rises. The voltage meter as well raises as the rpm raises ..any ideas?

i have a 90 and a 91 mustang. the 90 has 116k on it and i want to put it in the 91. do i need to get the block checked or re manufactured.? and if i get a 331 stroker kit from dss or even a 347 stroker kit, do i need to bore the block?
