Thats a good starter book! My 3-link saved about 15 lbs. So I went from ~75lbs with leafs to ~60. But I lost a lot of unsprung weight. If you dont need the tire clearance I would stay with leafs and add a watts link. Maybe swith the leafs to fierglass and add a sperical bearing in the...

    Drag guys! Shelby drop??

The one advantage not metioned for the shelby/arning drop is the fact that it would allow you to run a slightly longer shock. So if you are building a custom coilover front susepnsion like i did then you would get maybe a 5/8" longer shock which would help in front end lift.

Mustang II Front End in 1967 Swap

MII is not the best for pure handling. The geometry would need to be improved on. Also the structural integrity of the chassis would need to be addressed.

how should I bend some longtubes

I have super comps on my 65 falcon. I had to raise and seperate my flanges. So I used a jack to lift it using the weight of the car as the reactive load. To spread them i just made a jacking bolt in between them and pushed it apart. It worked good enough and no issues with the coating.
