Yeah, even at a dead stop I have to jam it in to first most of the time. I would think it was the transmission, but I didn't have the issue with the OEM shifter so I think it had something to do with the tri-ax
Hey guys, I'm having an issue with my '06 GT and I'm hoping you guys can shed some light on the subject.
I installed a Steeda Tri-Ax in my car and it sometimes has trouble getting in to first. I like have to jam it in there. I never had an issue with the stock shifter. Is that just a Tri ax...
Negative. The brakes and rotors are huge on the brembo Mustangs. The only wheel that will fit is a 19.
You should, however be able to change out the calipers easily.
Welcome to Stangnet. :nice:
This will fit any 99-04 Mustang GT or V6.. I bought it for a trip and used it once and it has been in my garage ever since.

This is for anyone who has an 03 cobra bumper and wants to mount a plate on the front.
I bought it for 35 bucks when I had my 04 and never used it.

Check and see if it's an aftermarket shifter, and see if the handle is put on the Passenger side. When I installed my Tri-Ax I put the handle on the drivers side, and it caused my shift boot to rub on the console.
