Yeah, it's very disappointing, because the 370Z is a really amazing car for the money. Here's a car that costs $33,000 and will hand a Porsche Cayman its a$$ for $20,000 cheaper.

It wasn't long ago I drove a 370Z and fell in love with it, and it's an awesome car. I love everything about it, except for one thing; its overheating problem. Under spirited driving conditions, they overheat. Nissan is well aware of the fact, yet refuses to acknowledge the issue or tend to...

These domestic companies claim they want to "one-up" the foreign automakers, yet they're going in the wrong direction. Sure, 426 hp may sound good on paper, but when 426 hp is motivating 3900-4000 lbs, it's not all that impressive. Take an LS1 car that weighed about 3400-3500 lbs, and was...

Could be fun in the snow, but I think I'd stick to my STi for those snowy days. :D With the start of a new job, I'm excited to say that I will soon be in the market for a new 2011 GT. I've been a bit hell-bent on a 2010, but I wanna see a tad more info on the 2011 now.

Some great pics. What a nice looking car... :nice:

    2010 Camaro

I'll have to disagree with you on that, Kyle. Some of the 80s/90s cars look pretty good, and have aged fairly well. I can't help but to love the 80s F-Bodies and C4 Corvettes, but there were also the Monte Carlo SSes, Grand Nationals, T-Birds, Lincoln MKIV (?), and the last of the RWD Cougars...

    2010 Camaro

Soooo, I "belong on another site" because I POLITELY asked you to post your mods because I was curious about how you were making 620 "safe" horses? Funny, because aren't I the same guy that was looking to buy a 2010 Mustang GT that had a 4.6L under the hood? Given that you "apparently" made...

    2010 Camaro

Considering your 620 hp, which is an upgrade of DOUBLE the hp that was stock, I highly doubt it's "safe" with nothing more than a fancy water pump, exhaust, and intake. So yeah, let's compare it to a ZR1. What makes you think the 6.2L can't make any more than 620 hp? Maybe if the...

    2010 Camaro

And your 4.6L isn't covered under warranty. Bet your ass GM can make a hell of a lot more than 638 hp out of that ZR1 motor. They just don't want to warrant it. I'd like to see your list of mods to achieve that "safe" 620 hp. ;)

    2010 Camaro

Kinda like the LS1-f*gs (as I like to refer to them) think an LT1 can't beat them with bolt-ons! :rlaugh:

    2010 Camaro

So the new GT is going to weigh 3600-3700 lbs? I'm NOT impressed. :notnice: These domestic Muscle Cars are getting way too heavy. :nonono:

    2010 Camaro

I've said it many a time before, but we've been seeing the "new" Camaro since 2004-2005, all in different colors, and all slightly "updated" versions. This car is not new. It's arguable that it is as "aged" as a 2005 Mustang GT that just hit the market. I've sat in a new Camaro. I've...

    2010 Camaro

The only reasons that pile of Camaro crap outsold the Mustang are because the Mustang fans are holding off for the 400+ GT. Next year, they'll get it. The other reason is because people didn't have a Camaro to buy for 7 years; all the fanboys are buying them up. Watch how quick the tables...

They do look good...if you're stranded in the middle of nowhere and it's the only car in sight! :rlaugh:

    2011 V6 Engine

As long as it hands that ugly new Camaro and the ricers their a$$es, who cares how much hp it's making? :)

    2011 V6 Engine

The Z also has a different gearing ratio, better aerodynamics, and weighs about 200-300 lbs less than the current V6 car. With the new V6 car, sure, it will be getting 90 more hp, but what else is it going to be getting; additional weight from a 6 speed transmission as well. FWIW, the 370Zs...

    2011 V6 Engine

True, but then there are the torque figures. Stock are going to be about 280 lb-ft, but once you get to the rears, probably about 225-230 lb-ft. While I think it'll certainly be quicker than the current V6 Mustang, I don't think it's going to be as quick as the current GT. I'm going to...

    2011 V6 Engine

I have an LT1 in my Camaro with a Hot Cam, heads, long-tube headers, 9.7:1 forged pistons, cai, etc. and got on a Mustang Dyno and dynoed out 290 rwhp. The engine was rated at 275 hp from factory. Granted, the compression ratio I chose was lower than normal (doing forced induction...) but...

    2011 V6 Engine

People aren't concerned with hanging the fastest corners in a Mustang. The last of the 1998-2002 Camaros with the V6s regularly out-handled the V8 models. The V6s were the ones to have for Auto-X. Laws of physics; less weight up front will equate to better handling. Pe

    2011 V6 Engine

This engine has 300 hp, which isn't including the 15-20% loss at the wheels. You're not going to see anywhere near 300 rwhp with nothing more than a high-flow exhaust, tune, and a cold air intake.
