    \ some trannies have a bit of slop in gear but i bet the problem is porbably the tranny cup. did you pop it on the end of the mgw shifter or put it in the tranny itself. you must pop it on to the mgw shifter to make it work right. george

    we are wating on the new design of the red handles so any shifter ordered with the red handles will ship end of the week. also the t56 bases are at the platers. any of thev other shifters with the blue handles will ship. as i stated, by end of this week we should have ALL shifter models...

    actually you both are right :D the handles will change the "ARC" distance of the shifts because the higher up you go the larger the radius of the arc. imagine if the stick shift were say 10 feet long. even though the shifter linkage did not change the actual distance the knob up top goes...

    yes my shop is in augusta. i do not think the shifter takes up any more space than the stock unit. the handle is just much beffier so it looks bulky. the boot actually slips over even the red handle nicely. regards george
