Fitting Size
The fitting ports on our conversion box are both 16MM X 1.5 Flare. Off the shelf fittings that are available are generally not long enough to seal against the flare in our box. You may want to purchase our fitting adapters #925121 which will convert the metric flare to a male -6AN...

1) Shortening the column. In a 1968 car it is only necessary to collapse the inner column shaft by tapping on the rag joint flange the inner column shaft will collapse in on itself. There is no need to cut anything. I cannot speak for how this column would mount in a 1965.

Pictures when I have it.
I can not verify this for you. We do not have access to one to try. I would GUESS that the splined shaft would be 3/4"-36 spline. This is a very common spline for Ford. If that is the case order #052534 rag joint instead of #990016 half rag joint and you will be all set.
To collapse the column, at the most you will be breaking a small plastic shear pin inside the column. (most of these we are finding have let go already). Our Saginaw pump kit is intended for use in the 65-69 SBF, 70 SBF, and 69-70 351W
Thanks,
Hi All,
As the thread title states we are in need of high quality pictures of factory 6 cylinder Mustangs with Factory power steering. We are trying to develop a bracket and pump kit for our conversion boxes. Need the following pics: A good picture of the pump mounting bracket and how it...
The pump kit is intended for use with a 289/302. We do have available a separate piece to adapt it to a 351w. Please give me a call or email if you need to order that.
Thanks, Jeff
Working on the instructions for the pump kit. Pretty simple install. Long stud goes into the head, two adjuster bracket bolts in to the water pump.
There are arrows cast into the steering box indicating pressure and return.
Pump is wet from testing, we try to drain most of it out before...
Emailed you the instructions. Washer marks are from being mounted to our test stand. Every box will have these as all products are tested 100% before they leave our building. The box should clear your Hooker headers. Please keep us posted on your progress.
Thanks
Should be the bottom half of Pg. 2 of the instructions. Let me know if you did not receive the instructions and I can e-mail you a set. Thanks and we look forward to your feedback on the conversion.
Really can't tell you that but some folks have guessed correct. Safe to say after we machine and alter the box it is not really recognizable as a factory part.:nice:
