    Water pump needs replacement

So, the other day my water pump went. No big deal. Is it worth the extra money to get the edelbrock victor series high volume water pump? Or is the FRPP stock volume ample enough. I have had cooling issues in the past and i know the stock cooling system is barely adequate so i think this would...

    ssbc rear brake conversion

Cool, thanks guys. The reason why I am considering this conversion is because I don't really want to put a Junkyard rear end on my '93. I like the fact that it has a higher gear ratio however. What I'm afraid of is installing parts which are of a higher mileage and are less reliable. My 5.0 has...

Buy a T-Top car even though the other options aren't ideal?

+1 I have a similar story. I searched for my Black on black 93 GT hatch for almost 2 yrs before I came across it. I said I'd never buy an automatic mustang, but once I found this car I knew I had to have it. It was on craigslist also. I felt the same with regards to options, but to be honest...

    Overheating issue. Pump maybe?

The dimensions for the radiator is as follows: 29.94W x 17.243H x 2.4D. I'd like to get an electric fan, however I need to upgrade my alternator first. Eventually I will get around to that. BYRDPE PM Sent.

    Sticky stuff in connecter

+1. I have the same issue with my sending unit. It begins to drop after 125 miles. Then it drops really fast until empty. The lower it gets, the faster it drops. I've become accustomed to it now, but it was very irritating at first. Before I replaced it with the LMR model, it worked like normal.

    Overheating issue. Pump maybe?

The clutch fan seems to be in good shape. There is still a decent amount of resistance when you spin the fan when the vehicle is off. There doesnt appear to be any silicone leaking from the hub. The fan is centered in the shroud. I also agree with getting the real gauge.

    Overheating issue. Pump maybe?

The car is very mildly modded. Full intake/Full exhaust/Fluidyne. I do not have underdrive pulleys, I do have a fan shroud/air dam and those temps are with the A/C off. Maybe the temperature sensor?

    Overheating issue. Pump maybe?

I searched the forums for an answer and I couldnt find this problem so here it goes: How can you tell if a water pump is bad? I've replaced every hose, added a fluidyne radiator, new 195 deg. thermostat/gasket, and replaced the worn out crank fan with a new crank fan and sometimes (not...

    no more stock!

Decide which way you want to go first. Forced induction or N/A. Then, I would work on your suspension. Subframe connectors, springs, struts etc. Then, upgrade the brakes. Discs all around, slotted and cross drilled. You have to decide whether or not you want to stay 4-lug or go with 5 lug. Your...

    idle issue

Today, I replaced my O2 sensors and swaped my MC platinum plugs for MC copper. Before this, my engine, when cold after ignition, would start and revv at approximtly 1800 for about 15-20 seconds and then rev down to 850-900rpms. Now after replacing those items, after a cold ignition it revvs to...

    rear end gearing

I've honestly never had a vehicle more poorly geared my my aod mustang. I used to have a 91 w/ the T5 and that was terriffic to drive, fun and squirly if you want it to be. But the AOD is boring. The 3.27 would make a huge different in the fun factor. However when I upgrade the rear, ill be...
