    race star wheel pictures

Been there plenty times as well as racing my Foxes. I see folks with 17-18 inch (some bigger) front tires and a few with weld or drag lite rims in the rear on 15 inch rims for track function ONLY. When they drive away from the track, the 17-18 inch wheels are back on. But the deep woods...

    race star wheel pictures

I would install 17-18 inch rims and put the stock hood back on. Then your car should be pleasant to look upon. It has the look of a car that went back in time to the eighties and adopted the styling of that found in the deepest back-woods country car owners. Mud flaps would be the next...

Gas Pedal Getting Stuck At WOT

Looks like you found the wrong forum them. Its not just Toyotas that this occurs. My 92 and 93 Foxes BOTH did this. NEVER had any serious problems EVER with them except THIS SAME EXACT problem. Frankly, this problem P1SSES me off.

Gas Pedal Getting Stuck At WOT

I will try your suggestion of trying to get it to stick by hand, thanks for that suggestion. The car does have cruise. I will also try that suggestion as well. Thank you for those ideas, I appreciate it. :nice::nice:

Gas Pedal Getting Stuck At WOT

Thanks for the tips. All that you mentioned checks out fine and appears to not be causing the issue. I think I may just have to staple a plastic mat or something to the floor area under my accelerator pedal. I really dont want to create an eyesore in that area by doing this but it seems I...

Gas Pedal Getting Stuck At WOT

Thanks. And its definitely not a joke. I would find it very distasteful to joke about a stuck accelerator pedal. I bought a new (and expensive I may ad) custom fitting Mustang mat from AM. With it in proper placement, the mat actually catches the pedal between itself and the carpet on the...

Gas Pedal Getting Stuck At WOT

What is the usual causes of the 99-04 model years, or specifically the 03 GT model year having issues with the gas pedal getting stuck at the floor at WOT? Throttle cable returns smoothly without any sticking. Floor mat is not in the way, but the usual worn out carpet area is present...

    Burning oil, LOTS of oil!

Yesterday I was searching info on engine internals and durability etc , and came across the postings in the provided link. I have no experience whatsoever with the product, nor do I know much about it, but it was a very interesting topic to read about: Engine restore Does it work?

    Spark Plugs, Beam Torque Wrench?

Thanks to everyone for the replies to my question. CLEARLY, the PRO-TORQUE-WRENCH guys present the most convincing arguement in behalf of the debate. It would keep me up at night worrying that one of the non-torque wrench guys here were working on my car. But thanks anyways to you guys as well.

    Odd Brake Issue, Help Fast

My brakes on my 93 GT have never given me any issues until driving it this morning. Today was the first time I have driven the car in about three weeks. After a couple miles (driving it nice and easy like I usually do) I slow down to make a turn and I see smoke from what appears to be under my...

    Spark Plugs, Beam Torque Wrench?

Has anyone used a beam type torque wrench without issue on changing their plugs? I ask because I have heard that beam type torque wrenches are not well-suited to working in tight confined areas as you need to turn/twist them a certain way to get an accurate reading. I've never used a torque...

    Carpet Fire SFC's

95.0Stang, to be honest, I cant really say I noticed any differance with the SFC's, but thats because I've only had it for about 300 miles and I have been driving like a granny since I bought it. But I know one thing, and that is that these cars are much more sturdy then the fox mustangs, as...

    Carpet Fire SFC's

Well, got them done today, from regular installer without lifting carpet or removing seats. Saved money and time, and nothing burned. Thanks for the replies.

    Carpet Fire SFC's

Thanks for that link Kornnut. That is quite alarming. Quoted from the poster of that thread, it was welded "directly on the vertical portion of the rear floor board. It had been dyno matted..." Whatever dyno matting is, perhaps that what may have caused it?? It makes me very nervous...

    Carpet Fire SFC's

I couldnt find the answer using the search function, but is it required to remove the seats and pull up the carpets on an '03 Mustang GT to perform a Subframe connector install? I've had SFC's welded onto both of my other mustangs (Fox 92 & 93) by well know installers and they didn't have to do...

    99-04 Common Issues

Huh? Panther forums? Dont understand the humor of that one. Myself and others were wondering the signs of the timing chain tensioner about to fail.
