    Are you datalogging the car? You have anything to look at? Are your knock sensors still active and enabled? When I was first tuning my 01, the knock sensors would become active at 4k and higher (This is with a Novi 1000). Ended pulling timing at .5 degree increments up to a total of 5.5-6...

    If you do it right, it'll be safe. Just make sure you don't skip on safety and up the fuel system. Get a fuel pressure, window, and wot switch. What kind of kit is it? wet/dry?

    Which Clutch is best for my application

    I have a SPEC stage 2 and it has lasted 15k (3k with the blower). Once it's broken in it's really a pretty well mannered clutch. It will chatter though you if bog it bad or something. Matt

    what about 4:10 in my 2003 cobra

    I think you will enjoy a 3.90 or 3.73 gear in it. Going higher than that with the torque loving eaton and you'll haze the tires consistently. I have 4.10s in my 01 and they were AWESOME unboosted, but now it just makes for hazing the tires in 1st, 2nd, and the top of 3rd. Don't get me wrong...

    Before the blower, car got 17 and 22 city and highway. Now, I get into boost alot I'll go through half a tank in one day. Damn 42lb injectors :)

    Yea, I had my starter replaced under warranty for that exact problem. It definitely had dead spots cause the wrench method worked.

    Can you hear it inside the car? It sounds like an exhaust leak to me. It may be that as the pipes heat up the expand enough to seal it. Email them to me at [email protected] and I'll host them for you. Matt

    99 cobra with 4.10s not pleased?

    i love my 4.10s and that's the gear the car shouldve come with. I don't car about the 1st and 2nd gear spin fest since I love taking off from a roll and it'll never see the track. hey, if i get tired of lighting up the tires, then its sticky tire time.
