ok my pedal goes to the floor and it still dont want to stop very well at all. i dont think the backs are working atall. it has new brakes. i blead them many times and it doesnt help. could the master cylinder be bad or something.
Ok i torqued the main caps to 20ft lbs then 90 degrees. crank spins fine. then i put on the rod caps and torqued them to the same 20ft lbs then 90 degrees. the crank wont turn. plugs are out so no compression. when i torque the rod caps to just 20ft lbs everything turns fine. when i go the extra...
ok i went to put my new cams in and the old cam gears are pressed on or something. they dont come off. everybody i have talked to said all the ones they have ever seen have the cam gears bolted on. i guess i need to get cam gears and bolts?
i have a 2000gt with the mach 460 system. i wanted to put an amp in in but i didnt know if it had the preamp outputs on the stock stereo. it is a tape deck with the cd underneath.
it is basically a stock engine with every imaginable bolt on. 410gears. full exhaust/no cats. what kind of cams should i get and is there any tricks to doing this install. the engine is out of the car.
ok i just installed a new king cobra clutch in my 2000 gt mustang. only had about 100 miles on it and i was running pretty hard and hit 3rd. i heard a pop and now i have no clutch. if i push the clutch in and try to start the car it starts taking off with the clutch in. the clutch feels real...
i only have about 200 miles on my king cobra clutch. was driving heard a loud pop and then my cluch had nothing. i looked under the car as someone worked the clutch. the clutch was working back and fourth so i guess it is in the tranny or something.
i have a 2000gt 5spd. i just pulled the motor out and put new rod bearings and clutch in it. before i pulled the motor it would kick out of 3rd. and no its not the stop bolts. it was like the shifter wouldnt go all way into 3rd. when i got the motor done and put the new clutch in everything was...
when i took off the shifter i took out the top 4 bolts instead of the the 4 connecting to the tranny. there is 2 springs in there. i really dont remember how this goes back together. i need an exploded view of the shifter or something.
does anybody have a diagram or something on how this goes together. i have no directions. what is stumping me is this little circle plastic piece that i have no idea where it goes.
