I don't know what the correct timing is for your car, but BTDC is easily found by looking at the rotation of the pully. If the pully rotates clockwise and you have a plate that shows a 0 then it would be the 12 BEFORE it gets to the 0. If it is After top dead center then it would be the 12...

Got in touch with K&N and they are sending me a new intake tube. They say I have an older version and there has been an update. They also said I should be using 92 or higher octane. I've been using 89 only because of the cost. I guess I'll wait and see how it goes with the new intake tube...

Didn't put any little piece in the filter. Don't even remember it being mentioned in the instructions. I got in touch with K&N and they say they will get back to me shortly. Maybe the little piece is what they want to talk about. Thanks for the help.

Ok...so how do I go about getting a tune now? I'm sorry, but I'm new to all this CAI and tune stuff. When I read about the CAI on K&N's website, I thought I understood that the unit I bought did not require a tune. In the instructions it just says to disconnect the battery before installing...

So last week I installed Magnapaks and K&N CAI and kept the stock tune on my '09 GT. I drove it all week back and forth to work and got on it once or twice and everything seemed fine. Today I got on it in second gear and not sure of the rpm, but at about 4000, I think, it shut down and went...

My credit score sucked when I bought my '09 last year. I had just gone bankrupt because my business failed in the bad economy. But I was still able to get 1.5 percent through Ford Credit. I did have an Escape and the payments were up to date.

Its according to how old the seq are that you bought. I don't know what year they changed it, but the newer ones automatically adjust to your flasher. The older ones came with a flasher that was slower.

This might sound stupid to some of you gearheads out there, but to me it seems like it could just be a hung valve. I've had that happen (not with the new Mustang) but with older cars when I went to move them from the garage out to the driveway and didn't give the oil enough of a chance to heat...

Ya...thats the bad part about is getting up that early on a Sunday. Its the parking lot just west of the Robert Moses bridge. The old Oak Beach Inn used to be there. But it really is quite a gathering...might be worth it one time to get up early and take a look. There has to be over 200 cars...
