    TRANSMITION MODULATOR PROBLEMS HELP!

    I have a 1989 Mustang 2.3 and the transmission modulator is bad i believe. It will not go to 1st to 2nd until it heats up and i roll on 4-5 rpms for about 5mins... I bought a new one but i have no idea how to fix it! I have a book but it does not say how to replace it! Does anyone here...

    Ok so here it is... I have a 1989 mustang lx 2.3 N/A I love this car but it does bother me how slow it get sometimes. I want to swap in a turbo 2.3 but theres one problem with that im not really the mechanic type im only 17 so i couldnt really mange doing that myself... Is there a place...

    yeah im sure... It was family owned since 89 and the old lady that had it drove like once a every 2weeks so he said after about 2000 it was only at 38,000 then he got it from her and he put 10000 on it... and well that sux... Are there any performance part websites for the 2.3?

    i already replaced it though and nothing happened... the previous owner said that he already changed it once and he was sure it was the cylinder but i did replace it like i said and it didn't fix the problem

    Ok, I just bought this car a couple days ago. I love it! But there is a problem... When i put the key in the ignition and start up the engine the blinkers ac and cooling fan will not work unless i play with the key and get in the right spot, but lately i can not find "that spot" I think...
