    Are you serious? It's some kind of assmebly guide or plug that clears itself into the pan when the tranny is loaded with ATF and put into use? Wow! Thank you for the help...I really appreciate it...and may even get some sleep tonight!

    Smog pump and catless H-pipe

    I'm installing a BBK off-road H-pipe on my '88 5.0 LX. Even though there are no catalytic converters in the new system, it still has an air tube welded in for connecting to the smog pump. Any idea why? I thought the only reason for the smog pump in the first place was to make the cats work...
