I have a 1969 coupe with a 302.Right now it has the old rusty looking exhaust manifolds bleh.In the future I wanna add some headers but the catch is I want some that i wont have to do any modding under the hood to get them to fit.I'm gonna replace all the pipe and mufflers to so the length etc...

I need the part circled in this picture and while I know what it is for I can not as much as I try remember the name.

The proper torque for a 302 with rail type rockers? I've been told 2 different things.Was told 20 foot pounds and 40 foot pounds.And should I be concerned if a couple of the rockers have a minor chip on the pushrod end? Some of them was really loose you could grab the rocker and wiggle it...
