Messing with it this morning reading live data, while it's doing it's usual crappy low idle, calculated load fluctuates between 88% and 92% and the TPS always shows 17.6% at idle. STFT B1S1 is 52.3% and STFT B1S2 is 99.2%. Same percentages for SFST B2S1 and B2S2. P1000 and P1101 are always there...

This morning I tried to log freeze frame data and it now shows a P1116 on the KOEO test. The temp gauge on the dash always shows half way between cold and hot. The car hasn't been running yet this morning and my scantool shows the ECT is 50 degrees.

So all 8 plugs were NGK TR55s. And they were black. I replaced the #4 coil and all 8 plugs. I also swapped the MAF sensor with a used unit from pick and pull. It still hates anything below 1/2 throttle, but I managed to run it up the highway about 5 miles. It pulls fine at full throttle...

Is it similar to removing the ECU and harness on a 5.0?? I've got an 89 LX 4 cyl I'm swapping to a carb'd 302 and I want to remove the ECU and harness. Andone have a link to a how to???

This is 100% true. Not to mention less rotating mass, but yes a c6 will work. I've had both behind a 302 in my old 86 coupe. It's worth roughly .5 seconds in the 1/4 to use a c4.

I'm swapping an 89 LX 4 cyl car to a carbed 302. I can find threads all day long about needing to swap to an 83-85 pickup for the tank, but I can't find out why. Why can't I just replace the pump with a piece of hose and run in inline filter before the inline pump without changing the pickup???

Not really. My best 60ft is 2.11. I just ride the clutch out at about 1750rpms and then stand on it. Spin through first and a little in second and away I go. :D Whats your best 1/8th mile pass?? :shrug:

I've got the Eibach drag launch springs and airbag on and Strange adjustable struts and shocks on now. I'm shooting for 13's on street tires this saturday. I've also got a set of drag radials borrowed. We shall see. I think I'll swap to 4.10's and PI swap it this winter. :nice:
