Drag radials, 4.10 gears, long tube headers and a good tune. Tires being the most important. You can have all the extra power but putting it to the ground is another thing. Going through this myself right now.

I had a tune issue with my d rockers after install but a new revised tune took care of my problems. My issues were not like yours. Did you purchase your cams from AM? If so call them up and ask for a revision. patrick

Talked with brenspeed today. They are sending me a revised tune. It seems my issues are related to the auto trans. I think you will be fine. I hope you have the two tools to do this install, I cant imagine doing it without them. Good luck. patrick

You will get more out of those cams with long tubes in there. You have done this much it would be a shame not to put the icing on the cake. Go for the pypes. Mine are great............so are the detroit rockers!!!!!!!! patrick

As stated the mustang torque curve is deceiving............feels slow. I felt the same way when I first test drove and the purchased my car. It just felt slow, but ran a 13.92 stock. Get a cai and a real tune and take off a half second off your 1320 times. It did for me. patrick

Well if you plan to get cams such as detroit rockers then you defiantly want a cai to fully utilize those cams. Buy a jlt2/sct combo from brenspeed or look for a used one. A tune from a reputable tuner is a must too. Bad place to skimp. patrick

Am not looking forward to all the tourist on Maui roads with 300 hp mustang convertable rental cars from now on. If you have never been here, its like every 5th car is a mustang vert. Gotta keep modding my 06 Gt to stay ahead of the tourists!!!!! LOL patrick

Keep the current car. Pay it off then mod it up. And you dont need 380 HP to run 12's. I ran a 13.22 with street tires with a crappy 2.15 sixty foot. Give me DR's and I am in the 12's. I would guess my HP is 300 or less at the rear wheels. patrick

Do a search dude..............you gotta follow specific procedures to remove them. They are a two piece POS design plug and are prone to breakage. If you break em you then have to order the special tool to remove the stuck part. This is a well known issue and there are stickys on most...
