sure, are you a vendor of some sort? it would have to be tomorrow though, im eastern time, what time zone are you?
:edit: just saw your sig as a trick flow tech lol. is that your number to your extension?
I dont know if some of you guys remembered my post about my 306 detonating on me, but any who, im putting in a 351 in my car and i found my trick flow fuel rail kit that i forgot about a long time ago, but im missing the directions and fittings. i was wondering exactly how do you do the...
i just saw in your sig that you have a v6 with the 5.0 swap. did you swap out the computer and harness as well? and also do you have the right plug wire orientation for h.o. which is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8? cant remember the non h.o. routing. that would also make the car run like crap.
well the tps is going to tell the motor how much to dump the fuel. if you are more than 1 volt with the throttle body closed then you are out of range (.5 to 1 volt is the spec) and the motor is taking it too much fuel and more than likely fouling the plugs already depending on the time it has...
preciate the input fellas. i just didnt know if there was going to be clearance issues. i have a cowl hood as it is so hopefully that will provide a little bit more ease.
as stated, just curious. i was browsing the vortech site and i didnt see that much for 351 combos. i might just have not looked long enough. the reason im asking since i blew my supercharged 306 i was going to put a 351 i built a long time ago in it and put the blower on it. if i can modify the...
if its poping in the intake that sounds like fuel and out of the pipes might be timing. have your checked your maf wires? they might be dirty and causing false signals which could possibly lean your fuel out . what is your initial timing set to?
well i jacked the car up and as i was putting the stands under the car, i saw the problem instantly. there was a big hole on the right side of the oil pan. as i layed under disconnecting harnesses, i pulled piston rings, a severely bent rod cap just on one finger probe. theres still debris in...
i already have an idea what im going to do with the 351. ill reuse my heads hopefully if they are still in tact and not ate up from any debris that might have got caught between the piston and combustion chamber. well just pretty much all of my upper end, maybe upgraded cam and add the blower...
you might be able to use fox body valve covers, the only bad thing about that is that your fill tube will be right behind the alternator. i ordered a set of covers from ford motorsport racing, but i had to raise my intake with a spacer.
was coming home from work and about 3 miles from my house my motor blew. i dont even have a killer story of me getting down or anything... just accelerating moderately and at 65 mph in fourth it just blew. blue smoke, bottom end rattling and of course dead engine. so far just by looking at under...
i agree with the scanner, if it is the maf which it kinda sounds like, you might need to clean the wires on the posts to get correct voltage readings. sounds like your car is running too lean from this.
