    Wheels-Tires Front Wheel Fitment. Will A 9.5" +20 Fit?

I'm looking at new wheels for my car and I'd like to step up to 18s. Well, As you can tell, I'm looking for something different, so I found some 9.5" wide +20 offset wheels that I like a lot. However, I want to know if they will fit up front. I'm pretty sure the rear will be ok, but I don't know...

Upholstery Upgrades using Stock Fox Frames!!

Hey guys, I'm looking to see if you guys have just the front seat set for a 2002 available. My Mom's car has tears in it, and it's all in all not looking so good inside these days (The car only has like 60K miles even...) so I wanted to see what you guys offer for her. It's a 2002 V6, factory...

Engine Does Anybody Make A Distributor For Our Cars That Isn't A Piece Of Crap?

Same here. I've had bad luck with anything reman so far. Even Napa parts which I was hoping would be better, but the NEW Rich Porter unit was junk as well. To be fair, it took three months to crap out over the reman unit's one month.

Engine Observations While I Changed My Pip Today

Swapped in the new PIP today into the proper distributor. I put the old, failing PIP into the old, failing distributor now so I have a "functional" spare should the need arise again. The car runs well again, and the hesitation/bog seems to be gone. I will keep an eye on it, but I hope that the...

Engine Observations While I Changed My Pip Today

Well I got another OEM PIP for my car recently, and I figured today was a good day to finally change it. I have made numerous threads stating my issues with them over my ownership of this car, but the most recent was here -...

Engine Does Anybody Make A Distributor For Our Cars That Isn't A Piece Of Crap?

Yup, I figured as such, so I bought a new OEM PIP off of Amazon recently. I went to install it tonight, and well.... I'll make another thread to show off the points of interest I found along the way. The TFI module is also original to the car, but most of the issues I've had were with the PIP...

Engine Does Anybody Make A Distributor For Our Cars That Isn't A Piece Of Crap?

I had no idea the OEM PIP was available still on RockAuto of all places. I might have to do that, they aren't exactly hard to swap out. Thanks!

Engine Does Anybody Make A Distributor For Our Cars That Isn't A Piece Of Crap?

I bought my car about 4 years ago and it had a distributor problem. It took some work but we changed the PIP and hey, the car was good for a good chunk of time. So a year ago, being that I still have pinging issues at times, I bought a new RichPorter distributor off of Amazon and stabbed it in...

Removing Body Details For Painting And Clean-up - Scoops, Trim, Etc.

Yup, interior panels have to come out. Pop the back seat bottom out, then the backing. After that you will be able to remove the side panels. You shouldn't have to pull the seatbelts off, as there's enough slack to move the panels out of the way. IIRC, there are 3 or 4 nuts holding on the side...

    Bogging/hesitation At Highway Cruising Speeds

I swapped my old OEM distributor in yesterday and so far it seems to be better. However, I will keep an eye on it and see if it's really gone. Damn Richporter distributor must have been failing on me. Also, I hooked up a vacuum gauge to it and it pulls around 16-17in at idle.

    Taillight De Ghettoization

Don't go single stage. Not with a metallic like your car. Only go basecoat/clearcoat with a metallic paint job. Unless you are painting a semi truck.

94 Gt Clunk Noise Upon Acceleration

Ditto. I had a 67 Cougar with a busted mount and it would separate so bad that it would yank the vacuum line off of the brake booster. Surprise manual brakes aren't fun.

    Bogging/hesitation At Highway Cruising Speeds

I was thinking about that this weekend, and I thought of something almost exactly like that. Glad to know that it will likely work.

    Bogging/hesitation At Highway Cruising Speeds

Is it bad that I'd love to try this out just so I can build that device? That sounds cool lol.

    Painting Car...

Give it a shot. Even if it doesn't come out perfect, it's not like it can't be fixed. Don't be afraid to give it a shot. Also, when it doubt, put the money into the clearcoat. That's what protects everything else.

    Bogging/hesitation At Highway Cruising Speeds

No problem, I'll update when I figure it out. With the dizzy being new, I doubt that's it, but you never know. I might try a coil if I can find a known good one. I also have a vacuum gauge here too so I'll take a reading this weekend and see what it is. Other than a CAI kit, the car is stock...

    Painting Car...

Open your driver's door and there will be a white sticker in there with a barcode, VIN and other information on it. On the lower left of that sticker you will see a line that says "EXT PNT" or something like that. There will be a two digit code for your color. That's your paint code. Ford...
