used a toothpick, and then alcohol like the dude at jet told me to do... I am just going to return the chip, maybe there a defect in it or something

well the chip is brand new from jet performance, i followed all instructions that came with the chip as far as removing the dielectric grease, cleaning it with alcohol and still when i plug it in the car won't hold idol and dies as soon as i take my foot off the gas? I can hear the spark plugs...

I recently bought a Jet performance chip for my stang and I can't get the damn thing to work. She starts, but won't hold idol... any suggestions? I called jet and they told me to clean the connection on the computer better but shes as clean as she gets... please help!!
