    First Numbers For The Boostang!

If you're having issues man I would not be getting into any boost at all and I would even not want to drive it till it gets figured out, who knows what kind of damage you could be doing with it's issues. I would highly consider trailoring the car to SA/DFW to get a real shop with in house...

    First Numbers For The Boostang!

I think I would be getting a little nervous about the builder/tuner at this point. Sounds like you may need to look at trailer'ing the car to DFW or SA for a week and let a new shop take a stab at it before you need another motor.

    98 Cobra Hood Clearance

http://www.hofibertrends.com/1994-1998mustangcobrahood.aspx That's who I was thinking of. I spaced the k member as it was a much less expensive option vs painting a new hood mystic..

    98 Cobra Hood Clearance

3 options you could do: 1. Purchase hood and there is a company out there who makes the stock 96-98 hood but I can't think of the name right now but it's raised 1-2 inches. 2. K member spacers 3. Shims for the hood

    Cluster

Will it work? In a sense, yes, but there will be many things to overcome. First off is the GT is a 140mph cluster and the Cobras are 160 and this cannot be recalibrated I think. I had swapped in a cluster from an 01 Cobra in my GT and I had to alter the gear ratio and tire ratio and that threw...

    First Numbers For The Boostang!

With it being an auto that effects the #'s for sure so its to be taken with a grain of salt. This car will lay the law down after the OP learns to handle the beast :)

98 Cobra Driving After A Few Years. Need Help.

Stick with Ford wires and the stock coils, pulleys you will hear positives and negatives on stock vs aftermarket so I cannot tell you which way is best here. Brakes I would go with Hawk pads and rotor pro rotors. I'm guessing you now have new fuel in it? I would check all the fluids though and...

Progress Thread 96 Mystic Cobra Build Thread

Thanks buddy! Shes come along way since the beginning of this thread which was 2 years ago now. I wasn't planning on this swap THIS soon but hey its ok, just gonna take some time to recover and now I got a wedding to save for. Although, I just found a set of extremely rare export mirrors to turn...

    Engine Swap

Sell it and buy a GT or Cobra. I know it sounds rough now but it is way more $$ to do a swap like this with a running car.

My Car Must Have A Bigger Engine Than A 4.6l

http://corpuschristi.craigslist.org/cto/4412008604.html Those 2v Cobra motors are infamous! I must have missed the info on these.

Progress Thread 96 Mystic Cobra Build Thread

She's alive!! I'll update this thread a bit later tonight or this week but hot damn did she feel great. Still got things to button up but the terminated mystic lives! She put up 456hp & 456tq on the dyno and had 160+ compression test results too. @Nightfire @Kornnut @SteedaGT9150 @TeufelGt

    03/04 Faux Cobra Mirror

Doesn't look bad, but I feel like it would be a good 5-10 ft mod. Good looking ride though none the less.

    Best Gears For The Track?

I think I would choose the 3.73's as well. It's easier to step down if needed and know you need the 3.55's vs going with 3.55's and wondering what if with the 3.73's.

Loving the hydrodipping. I can't wait to get some of that done but first I gotta get my turd back to road worthy.

1996 Cobra Won't Go Into Gear

Forks would be my guess as well. Does it have an aftermarket shifter or stock? Sometimes the stops may need an adjustment too but like I said, my guess is forks are bent.

    So Sad

It's just a V6  Don't get me wrong alot of us including myself start in a sixer but there are so many on the road it's not a real loss unless the driver lost their life behind the wheel.

'03 Cobra IRS Swap in SN95 Project

No problem man. Your local auto supply shop should have the lines that you need. Be sure the flares are the correct type otherwise you will have leaks. I cut my supply line right above where the pumpkin is and ran the lines from there. I've seen some setups where they put the T on the passenger...
