    Will it Pass Emissions?

Good luck - I failed with hi-flow cats (only two converters)in Ontario with my smog pump in tact. Your main concern is that if you only have two out of the 4 factory OEM converter chambers, you are missing the first set that help build up the heat to reduce the Nitrous Oxide readings.

SN95 GT owners opinion on MAC dumps

I only drive my car once or twice a week in the summer. Its a convertible, so I only drive on nice days with the roof down. I am guessing with the open cockpit, I would not be effected as much by exhaust fumes and or droning through the cab as I have a lot of fresh air flowing around (at least...

SN95 GT owners opinion on MAC dumps

I gotta say, I was really disappointed w/ the hi flo cat manufacturer. I only drive my car about once a week in the summer time and its runs supper clean. When I looked at my final etest that passed with my factory cats, it actually had lower emissions readings than when I bought this car over...

SN95 GT owners opinion on MAC dumps

Yeah, I emailed back and fourth with them with all of the details, results before and after with their cats vs. mine. They left me high and dry...... My Nitrous oxide readings with their cats that I only had 5000 kms on, was over 810 PPM, when I put my original 15 year old converters back on, I...

SN95 GT owners opinion on MAC dumps

I am starting to think leave good enough alone. I recently had to take off my fi-flow cats which sounded awesome as they failed e-test. So I now have a quiet car, with slightly less performace and am out money to boot for these cats that supposidly where 49 state compliant. I was looking to...

Help me decide on my paint job!!!

Over all I like the concept/colors. Two tone is always cool. The stripes "may" be over kill where it makes it too busy.... However, its your car, so go with your gut!

SN95 GT owners opinion on MAC dumps

Just wanted a few opinions from some fellow SN95 GT owners. I currently have factory header/converter set up with MAC Muffler chambers. The car seems too quiet for my liking. Does anyone have experience with either installing MAC dumps on a similar set up, or cutting off the tailpipe and...

    94 5L: starts but stumbles/stalls out

No, this happened on the way home from the shop. The car ran perfect for the entire 1 hour commute home. The car died as I was turning onto my street. I had to push it the rest of the way home (200 meters). When I picked it up from the shop, I filled it with mid grade fuel and added fuel...

    94 5L: starts but stumbles/stalls out

Thanks guys - You where correct, I have fuel at the rail - but do not have a gauge to diagnose how much pressure. The car will start most times without touching the gas pedal, but starts to stumble out to a stall within about 20 seconds or so. "If" i give the gas pedal a shot to try and get it...

    94 5L: starts but stumbles/stalls out

Thanks guys, I appreciate the insight. Since I am no mechanic, I am pretty much running out of ideas and'or how to accurately test the electrical pin outs/etc.... I guess I should just call the tow truck already and get a shop with the right equipment to fully diagnose..... At least I won't...

    94 5L: starts but stumbles/stalls out

Looking for some expertise on a problem thats may have me beat. Vehicle dies out while driving a week ago, and would not fire again, until trying the car a week later. Now the car will fire, but quickly stumbles out and stalls. I got spark at the coil. I got fuel at the rail - but no fuel...
