    Go to autozone and ask for a water pump for a 1990 town car. it will look exactly the same as a 5.0 but the impeller and flow channels will be like the one above in the pictures of this red mustang. Its like 40 dollars.

    I would say your clutch may not be disengaging fully when things warm up. Adjusting your clutch cable tighter and looking for a change would be what i would do.
