    I have a 65 vert and run those wheels 14 X5 with 205/70's up frony and 14 X7 W4"backspacing and 245/60's on the rear.     Am I crazy or do you think it will work

    I have a 65 Vert that I just put 14 X Mustang rally wheels on with 245/60-14 BFG's, unfortunately to prevent Tire Rub(due to wheel backspacing being 4", advertised as 4 3/4" which would have been perfect) I had to lift the rear end about 2" using Lift Shackle. I don't much care for the Leaf...

    help: flywheel/clutch

    Replace they clutch, pressureplate, flywheel and through out bearing. You can get a complete clutch kit from Auto Zone for about 150.00 and a reman. flywheel with lifetime warranty for about 75.00 from auto zone. I know I just did this. Ron

    Early Style 289 Timing Cover

    Are you refering to the one used with a cast iron water pump with the cast-in timing pointer? Check mustangsunlimited.com. The only other timing cover used on the 289 is for an aluminum waterpump with a bolt on timing pointer. as for 5 bolt i am not sure what you mean. Ron

    On my 65 vert, after carefully measuring the fender lip (inside edge) to inner wheel house (11") and the wheel moumting surface (brake drum) to inner wheel house (6.75") If I use a 14 X7 Styled Steel Wheel for the 65 from Mustangs unlimited with 4.75" backspace this leaves 2" from outter wheel...

    New Tires and I check that bolt it is tight. I can feel the bounce in the whole left fromt corner of the car. the type of bounce you would expect to see with a bad shock, however I just replaced them 2 weeks ago and it didn't help at all. Ron
