    I set my car up the same way..I hit 4th gear at the 1/8 mile timer. I usually trap 91 mph.I havent took my car to the 1/4 yet but the calculators say I should be at 6k in 4th gear when I cross the line...

    The seats have not been recovered.I was just lucky when I bought the car they were in great shape. The paint was another story though. I bought the wheels from www.oewheelsllc.com . Great company too.

    I have a couple of other threads out there so 1 more shouldn't hurt: I finally got my wheels back. I sent the front two wheels off to get narrowed to 17x5.5, I left the rears at 17x9. The tires I'm using are Toyo TQ 275/40 drag radials and M&H 185/55/17 for the front. Both sets fit the rims...

    Reinstall the 19# injectors. They're good for 300hp..As stated earlier 30# injectors are over kill for your combo unless you get a tune.

    Manual or power steering

    Manual rack here on both of my cars. One has skinnies and the other one has pony wheels. Its not bad at all with either. I do run my slightly higher tire pressure for the fronts and it does help.

    Contact Fox Lake.. Ron (owner) will set you up with a custom cam and a nice set of heads to match..I was really please with my HCI from him..I will be using him again for my next build 417 or 434, hadn't decide yet..

    Who to order a custom cam & heads from??

    On to the next one..FWIW I sent in a tech card for a custom cam from Jay back in Feb. never heard anything back. I recently got wind of his health issues also. Ed is very good and Buddy Rawls.

    New & Improved 86 Mustang

    I like the shift light location.. It looks like a Raptor.. From what I understand its only a 3 wire hook up. Ground power coil output on the pcm harness.
