Passenger Torque Box Question in 67

Have you tried mounting it under the frame rail instead of over like what you did? This guy on his website shows he mounted it under the frame rail (Mike's 68 Mustang project). My toe board was fine so I didn't remove it and ended up mounting it under the frame rail. It went in fine for me.

Passenger Torque Box Question in 67

Did your torque box come with 1 piece or 2 pieces? I ended up installing the dynacorp brand which came with 2 pieces, but not sure what you are referring to. Could you send us a pic of what you are talking about?

Global West Suspension Rocker Rail Supports?

I looked at my car lastnight and forgot to take the pic, but I do see the openings that Mustbereel is talking about. Here is a link I found on the web that shows the grooves I was referring to, http://www.stephanies-mustang.com/images/dejabloo/div_2.jpg. Thanks Mustbereel for your help.

Global West Suspension Rocker Rail Supports?

Thanks Mustbereel. I also noticed that you covered your whole rear. Would you recommend just making the seat divider accordingly to the grooves? I don't have a pic currently to show what I am referring at the moment.

Global West Suspension Rocker Rail Supports?

Mustbereel - I know you used 16 gauge sheetmetal for the seat divider and was wondering if you or someone would recommend using a thicker gauge for better strength or it really doesn't have any advantage?

Rusty428cj - that looks awesome! I am also planning to use bed liner as well.

Global West Suspension Rocker Rail Supports?

I installed Global West SFC, but the car is not on the ground yet. I was planning to install the rocker rail support, but after reading Mustbereel's thread, I am no longer going to install it.

    Restoring a Rusted Roof

yup, those are the ones except I bought the ones for my angle grinder. Those things are great! rust old paint it'll take it off quick.

    Restoring a Rusted Roof

It looks like light surface rust. I would use a wire brush like what NasaGT says or use one of those fiber glass wheels you hook up to an angle grinder. Just don't apply a lot of pressure. It should remove it quickly.

Anybody have the "boss 302 chassis modification book"?

Hey NasaGT, Would you be willing to send it to me as well? My email is [email[/email]. Thanks!

Good trustworthy engine shop in Sacramento area

Thanks Bold69. I've been to Marauder Motorsport. They sell a lot of used parts which is cool, but I've never really seen or hear people got their engine built from there. I'm still shopping around for shops while I am finishing up my sheet metal work.
