Pressure plate. I had a bad vibration at about 3000rpm, changed balancer no luck, then car started knocking real bad. Long story short my pressure plate was out of balance and took out main bearings. Good luck

would he also have to do a mass air conversion? considering the e cam will have less vacume to run the stock speed density computer. I have an 87 gt and been told not to put a cam in untill conversion has been done

you just need your basic hand tools, nothing really special really at all. a lift would be great but many people dont have easy access to one.its pretty easy to do with just having to pull the trans. lube seal very good before installing.

I would verify that you have good compression on cylinders. just for piece of mind, and that the dizzy spins counter clockwise. i made that mistake just getting ansy to here it run after all the work. just my 2 cents

i had the same issue about 6months ago, it was my caster/camber plate was loose. I would check that to start with.

sounds like you have a header leak. check your gasket see if you have burned it

thats not normal is it? When the cable has slack in it thats when i get noise. is there suppose to be a preload on it?

i had to put a new clutch in, so i put a new pilot bearing and throwout in too. now when cable is adjusted pedal is great, but now i have a chirping noise when pedal is completly out. When i touch the pedal it goes away. I should have mentioned its all stock kit. thanks:shrug:

no, thats the spout. tfi and pip sensor are mounted directly on dist. one has wires going to it the other doesnt, just a screw
