just converted to carb and I have the fuel pump wired to a switched 12v so its running all the time,I have a FPR,is it safe for the pump to stay running?

will a 93 lx rear bumper cover bolt on a 86 lx?they have a 87+ gt rear bumper cover and side effects on it now,dont really care for the look.
