Can any of you direct me to a thread or forum that builds non H.O. Non roller engines? I can't afford to buy another motor, I now have two 86 302's. But it seems like they're good for nothing but a scrap yard. :notnice:

It's not a high output, and is fuel injected. Can you explain speed density?

Is there a non-roller performance cam? What is the difference between a roller and not?

Finally got my dad, back home, to check out the heads that came on my motor they are E5's...? Is this bad? Are these worth spending money to have them ported and valved? Or should I just go buy a set of cheap E7's?

Hello all, Last time I posted I got some quick feedback and I'm hoping I get that again. I have an 86 302. It's pulled and waiting to get beefy. I've tried talking to people and doing my own research but I can't figure it out. I want a decent cam, nothing to crazy so I don't loose vaccum...

So... Came home from college and started tearing my block apart... UGH!!! HOOOORRRRIIIBBBLLLEEEEEE!!!!! But not that bad. Biggest problem I had was trying to get the fuel line "quick snap" crap off. Took the intake manifold off and opened her up and found this... Probably should have followed...

Rebuilt Ford Cylinder Heads According to the link above the E7 heads are from the High output motors. E6 was the regular 5.0. Where on the head is the casting number?

So the general consenes is that the 1989 heads will work on my 1986 engine. End of story, direct bolt on, no questions asked, just bolt and go? I really apprecaite all the help. Thanks everybody.

To build-ish, I don't know I'm just checking out my options. My buddy was telling me I could use the gt-40p heads off a mountanerr or explorer for better flow but those are expensive....:spot:
