HELP trying to get Corbeau seats in a 95 convertible

Are you still using the original power seat brackets and the adaptors? if you are yeah you're going to sit up much higher. I opted to get the manual sliders because of two things: 1) they are much lighter than the power seat brackets 2) they sit lower than the power seat brackets so you get...

    Converting to Fox TB setup...??

One thing you'll need to do when you get the vortech discharge tube is you're going to have to cut it down- the discharge tube you see in that picture is for a foxbody setup- with the accessories from a fox, which are mounted farther away from the engine. Cutting the tube isn't much of an issue...

Will this shorter belt routing work? (pic inside)

Just curious- but why did you go through all that when the WP you purchased actually has the idler pully on it, which you could have routed the belt on it, instead of buying the cheaper WP without the idler pulley and saved yourself 70-80 bucks?

    Growling noise

well since it wasn't a bear or a chihuahua I'd say it's possibly the blockplate- the plate can warp if the bellhousing is overtorqued onto the block causing the the blockplate to warp and then the flywheel (and the counterweight) will dig into it as well causing fun rackets, especially when you...

What is Need to Change 4.6 to 5.0?

There is so much you'll have to change out: electronics would be vastly different especially if you stay EFI: (computer, harness, guages etc.) you will NOT be able to use your old 4.6 tranny (the bellhousing pattern is different) You may have to redo your whole fuel delivery system as...

    Some T56 questions.......GET IN HERE

I'm running a T-56 with BBK long tubes and a BBK x-pipe. It fit fine, the only problem I had was the way the x-pipe fit, because of the heads I was running. I ended up having to widen out the x-pipe about 1.5 inches wider because the collectors on the long tubes were moved up and out by the...

    SERPENTINE BELT measured by CANS?

getting the right size belt is easy, you just have to know what the codes are: if you get a goodyear belt the way to read the code is as follows: for a 6 rib 89.5 in belt it will be 4060895, 4 being a standard prefix, 06 representing the number of ribs, and 0895 being the length. for...

Hit a frickin bird- need a new coolant overflow tank

I was driving the stang around for a nice leisurely drive and going around 45mph a pair of birds fly right in front of my car. I notice only one flew past, so I'm thinking "great- hit a bird" and really didn't think about it and drove home. A few days later I notice I'm getting a "Low Coolant"...
