Engine dies when shifting from park to rev or drive

I would check the IAC unit on the throttle body. Does the a/c work? Have the car in park and turn on the a/c, there should be an increase in the idle speed and the radiator electric fan should come on. Since your mustang has a automatic transmission the ecm has two settings for engine rmp one...

Engine dies when shifting from park to rev or drive

I built a 331 stroker for my 95 stang and had it dyno tune witha SCT chip. It ran fine for about 2 months ( its has a manual T5) Then it started to stall when I would take my foot off the gas to shift form a stand still into first. My tuner said there was nothing wrong with the tune and that I...

    A/C line relocation

I have BBK long tube hedders on my 95 GT and the a/c line on the passengers side is almost touching one of the tubes. Now the a/c works just great but the hedder is heating up this line. The instruction for hedders did mention that this line should be relocated to a higher postion. Does anyone...

cobra intake with 1inch spacer clear hood?

NO! The Cobra R mustang used a 351 windsor engine which is about 1" higher than a 302 and the Cobra R came with a 3" cowl hood. I have a 95 mustang with the GT40 Tube intake with a 1" spacer to clear the valve covers and I new it would not fit under the stock hood. I went to a Cobra R 3" cowl hood.

ON the thermostat housing gasket did you coat both sides of the gasket lightly with some rtv sealeant before installing it? If not it will always develop a leak. Also I bought a nice looking crome thermostat housing and no matter what I did it leaked. Took it off and put a straight edge on it...

    Will a 347 work with stock H/C/I?

I go for it and I would use a steeda #19 cam and some heads and intake from a 5.0 ford explorer.

    Western Motorsports ECM

Just got back in town and I just started a new job with United Road Auto Transport. Will be delivering new Ford vehicles. So my 95 stang is on hold, but I'm leaning toward the SDS system from Western Motorsports. They have excellent support and I have done some research on the web and it looks...

Jumped A/C cycling switch... Compressor kicked on. Now what?

This is what they usually do when adding or charging the A/C on a car. 1. They draw out all the freon using a machine with vacuum, after the freon is out the machine is still connected and the vacuum reading is monitored over a period of time to see if the vacuum holds. 2. If the vacuum reading...
