    Yes, a generic 255lph pump will not work. There are specific pumps for your vehicle, 98-2004 use the same pumps. Walbro, BBK, Ford SVT all make pumps for that application.

    You can go up to 150 shot with a wet system, upgraded fuel to a 255lph, & a tune. You need to pull 2 degrees of timing for every 50 shot of nitrous. Couple of steps colder on your plugs also.

    I would stay away from a dry system, wet is the way to go. The only thing available is going to be a nozzle system, no plate systems available as of yet. Nitro Dave's does do custom plates.
