well i agree you shouldnt just go ripping emissions out. but as many people have ran into it was like this when i purchased the car.. i know for a fact the car never goes into closed loop and there maybe other problems.the car is 92 lx 5 speed..i had and 88gt with a maf conversion with the same...

can anyone help me on how to bypass all the emisons such as egr and air pump solenoids so my check engine light will go off.the car never goes into closed loop because of this

i used to have a 10 inch wide rim on a previous mustang and it looked great..it rubbed a little on the inside wall..i anyone is running a ten inch wide rim what back space and size tire are you running...this will also be a 15inch rim with a drag radial...any sugestions will be apricated

well i got it fixed and it was the fuel pressure regulator...thanks for all that had there input

ok i put a fuel pressure gauge on it today...it was at 32 psi..and it would drop to 12 or so when it wouldnt rev. so i would say fuelpressure regulator...but i have a few firends that say it coulb fuel pump too...what does anyone think

it does it under a load and when out of gear!!

has codes for emissions bc i have no egr or air pump, a weak coil could be an issue ill check the voltage...and no platinum plugs...the other thing that keeps playing in my mind is that i bought a used hypertech chip and now this issure has arrived...i took the chip out and still the same...

i can not figure out the issue with my car..it wont rev over 3.5k...its like there is a rev limiter and the fuel is cutting out. any ideas what this could be or anyone have similar problems...fuel pressure regulator?
