Has anyone put an aftermarket steering wheel on their 94 and up? I tried Grant, but all they make are steering wheel covers.

I have my diff cover off and I seem to remember there is a way to count your teeth on your gears and do some sort of calculation to determine what gears you have. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

I changed my intake this weekend and when I put it back together and fired her up I noticed my headers were glowing red within 2 minutes or so. My electric fan turned on within 60 seconds or so, so the car is obviously getting hot very very quickly. any ideas on WTF is going on???
