I am installing a gage pillar and was wondering where the best spot to tap for a switched power source is. Also, will the check engine light come on from removing the stock trans temp gage?

I have an 07 GT with pulleys, exhaust, and now runs on ethanol. I took it to the track and i only got one run in because people kept spilling things on the track. I messed up the launch real bad, it was my first time. Here are the results, just curious what it should run in the 1/4...
