    Cage questions?

    What are you going to be using the cars for. Street, 1/8th mile 1/4 mile and about how fast you gonna be running. A 2000 dollar cage is nice and all but if your only runnin 7's or 8's or so in a 1/8 mile all that cage is a waste.

    The stock computer just cant keep up with your engine when it's in neutral. I have a 93 with a 331 and have turned it over 8K when in neutral b4 i had a MSD box.

    Carb vs. EFI Tall Valve Covers

    Just put an extra gasket on the valve covers. Depending on the rockers you have you still may have to do some grinding to make it fit.

    Flow Tech Flowtech Headers install GARBAGE

    I welded mine up and installed them with the engine in the car i did'nt have to cut the header flange either. I'll agree they are cheap but they work and i'm happy and my pocket is not lighter from buying some other header.

    You can reuse the cross member and the drive shaft. You need to measure your bell housing because c-4's come in large bell housing and small. Large you can use the larger converter with a 164 tooth. A stock aod or aodE flex plate will work if its a large housing it's also a 50oz what you need...

    Are Flow Tech headers really that bad?

    Buy the summit's or flow techs. Weld the slip fitting and enjoy your headers. I have no issues with the flowtechs on my 331. They are not the best looking and yeah they rust just like every other header. But my car runs in the 6's in the 1/8 with no problems.

    Try this gizmo 86-93 IAC ADJUSTER MUSTANG. I was having the same problems as you and this fixed it. It's alot cheaper than anything else and it works well.

    Have you tried lowering the fuel pressure or even eliminating the IAC with a manual IAC. I have a 331 with 185 AFR's and I run 30LB injectors. The injectors are probly too big. Try cutting the fuel pressure down a bit to see if it helps. I have major surging idle if i run over 35 psi of fuel. I...

    You don't need a different front pump cover. You can still use your fact dist if you want too. Or buy a HEI conversion Dist and use that. i've been thinking about swaping to Carb also.

    biggest tires on 10 holes

    Unless you are getting them at a steal I would'nt bother. Unless your just gonna hook the exhaust up and drive the car. If your gonna mod it and try to make more power the 1 1/2 are not gonna cut it.

    install issues w/a rebuilt AOD need help

    Best way to do an AOD is to sit it up with the tailshaft pointing down. Place the converter on the shaft and spin. You will feel it lock in. Spin some more just to be sure. The converter should be recessed a little from the bell housing
