Tire Pressure Monitors, Are they needed?

My last car I didnt have them on my winter wheels/tires. You just have to put up with a constant warning light & realize you need to check the pressure yourself time to time.

    exhaust

As in remove the catalytic converters? You sure can, but before you do make sure you don't have to pass any emissions tests where you live. The easiest would be just to have an exhaust shop cut them out & replace them with pipe (but be sure to ask them to save them for you - they are worth...

    OWNed in the parking lot

Thats like saying you got owned because you drove through the rich end of town & realized they have more expensive homes than you.... Personally, Ive yet to see a Lambo driven by a guy who wasn't fat, bald & an overall jag. The car just screams 'look how much Im compensating!' (not...

How do you make your loved ones understand...

I know most may not agree with me, but my two cents is to maybe enjoy the car you have for a year or two more until you get the house & wedding out of the way... an '11 GT will be cheaper then too. I was looking at an '11 v6 w/ performance package to order, but I too am in the middle of saving...

    Intermittent grinding in rear

I just noticed today, at lower throttle in every gear, I get an intermittent grinding noise coming from the area of the rear/diff on the car. The noise is not too frequent, but pretty concerning. I did a quick check to see if anything in that area is loose & could be causing it but didnt...

New owner - a few questions

Thanks for the advice.... I agree on the seat time. The mustang is a lot different than the mazda Im used to. Ive only done about half a dozen events per summer in the past but hopefully can do more this year. Im not super competitive, more or less just out to have a good time Ive got...

    Aftermarket Rims---caution!

Lug nut styles: http://site.brandsport.com/exterior/wheels/acorn-mag-ball-seats.jpg Often certain rims may do better with different lugs, however my guess is that if the part of the lug that interfaces with the rim is the same shape, there would be no issue in using either lug nut
