No, we notched the hood to clear the upper intake and throttle linkage. In post 2, 3rd pic from the bottom you can see where we outlined the area to be cut on the under side of the hood.

Manual doors and seats are good for a few pounds, Im 92% sure you can use a fox seat track with your original seat. If you dont mind cutting on yout car you can go after the under hood and decklid webbing with a hole saw or cut off wheel.

Slide the passenger seat back and sit the cup at the front of the e-brake handle between the console and seat, also works in a fox. It sucks but what are you gonna do?

If you remove a spark plug wire and it doubles in frequency, that is a piston skirt or wrist pin. A rod knock will be louder under engine acceleration usually, and I don't think you would confuse a lifter or rocker noise for a knock, that is usually described as a click or ticking noise. When...
