    Congrats on the purchase. I went from being a strictly pushrod guy too, til I picked up my 07 with 11k miles, and I love my new car, feels so much more solid than the Fox.

    I've emailed back and forth a few times with him and he has an X2, I just e-mailed him telling him how to check to see if it is unlocked. Are you saying that even if it is unlocked I shouldn't get it? Can I not get custom tunes for the X2? Just change basic parameters with it myself?

    Okay, so if the guy did reinstall the factory tune to the car before he sold it, I can have Brenspeed or someone send me new tunes to use with the SCT tuner? Provided I give them the engine code and whatnot, right?

    TPMS

    In my experience, TPMS are very inaccurate and tend to malfunction quickly. Got a new work van, within 8 weeks time the TPMS had to be replaced, 3 months later, it went bad again. If I want to accurately check my tire pressure, I will do it the old fashioned way :flag:

    6 tenths is a huge difference in the world of drag racing. Sure the weather may have accounted for 2-3 tenths difference, but regardless, even a difference of 3 tenths is phenomenal. That's comparable to a large modification to your car. But like I said, different strokes for different folks...
