    351C in a SN95

fawcett I'm not sure what kind of mpg's this car will get, but I'm hoping in the 18 range. My dad is running a 377 (Cleveland) stroker and a 5 speed with 4.11 gears in his 69 and still getting 18mpgs on 110 octane, that is if he drives it "right." Keeping your foot out of the firewall is the...

    351C in a SN95

As far as headers I'm not sure which brand I have, I bought the kit used. I have seen them for sale multiple places though. The major components of the swap (other than engine of course) I used was a kit to put a 351C in a fox body. which included the headers. There made with the fox in mind...

    94 Running Hot

It is a 160, had to look through the receipts just to make sure. The temp is usually in the low-mid 90's this time of year, but it was doing it in the mid 80's too after driving a bit and getting into traffic. Here are some pics of the clearance I have.......they aren't too good, I work 3rd...

    94 Running Hot

any chance that the factory shroud isn't letting enough air pass through it? I figured with a 3000cfm puller fan it wouldn't be a problem, but maybe a possibility?

    94 Running Hot

My idea of hot is 190+......this is a carbureted car so I don't like to let it get any hotter than that. The stock fan was running great, and I actually had it just running all the time (haven't put anything on it to kick it on/off with temp yet). I am using a new aftermarket temp gauge so there...

    94 Running Hot

Ok guys here's the situation. I am needing some kind of setup to keep my 94 cool. I know there are other forums out there for this, but I am running a 351C in mine so clearance is a big issue. The fan+shroud cannot be any larger than factory because it simply will not fit. Right now I am running...

    351C swap Q's

I just unhooked mine, and it seems to work great. May give me a problem on down the road, but as of right now it flows good, and no signs of it starving for fuel :D I have done the swap, and its not that bad....I will try to get on in a few days and post all I needed and some tips on the...

    94 Roll Bar Placement

Thanks Kurt, I thought that was a semi-common thing people did and is why I asked the question. I'm still going to install mine, but that's just personal preference, after all that's what makes working on these cars great:nice:. But anyways I did not mean to come off as a dick if I did, I just...

    94 Roll Bar Placement

I'm not looking to be raked across the coals here. I posted that because I wanted to clarify any misconceptions on what I wanted. I can angle the bars to go through above the opening to the trunk through the metal, or angle it through the opening where the seats were, or even through the panels...

    94 Roll Bar Placement

ok....let me break this down......This is a street car, with that said I am in no way worried about the fact that it may not be NHRA legal. I choose this kit in particular because I did not want door bars because they seem excessive in a street car to me. I'm not knocking them, I just don't want...

I'm putting a 4 point cage in it from Jegs and have a pretty good idea on how I am going to do it, but would like some advise from others who have done his before. Here is what...

    MSD Street Fire Ignition?

Yeah I believe I may have got a lemon. Switched it over with a used 6al system and its doing great. Still have a run-on issue, called MSD and the told me the "correct" place to install the diode, which literally did nothing. Just makes me wonder what "techs" they have on the payroll.
