    Autocross setup questions...

Ya, it usually happens at higher speed (130+mph) but there have been a few that have broken at more normal speeds too (60-70mph). They seem to break most often when letting off the throttle after WOT acceleration. It's the one thing that's holding me back from installing new gears. I don't want...

    Autocross setup questions...

If you are racing I assume you'll be removing the 113mph speed limiter. If you do this, you will want to upgrade your drive shaft as it has been prone to failure. I'd recommend the Drive Shaft Shop's aluminum unit as it has a cv joint so you don't have to worry about your pinion angle when you...

2012 Mustang Wheel Upgrade Question...Please help

Upgrading to the higher profile will increase your wheel/ tire diameter by 1 inch. This will result in your speedo showing your speed 3.8% slower than your actual speed. This info can be seen for yourself here: http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp Just input your stock size and your...

HID Xenon Convertion for fog lights

You are correct. My previous response was to MoBlack05GT as it sounded like he was looking for a kit for his headlights, not fogs.

    Suspension Lowered

The Sport springs are built to work with any factory mustang wheel so I would assume as long as you don't upsize the tires, you should be fine.

HID Xenon Convertion for fog lights

One more thing, if you're looking for headlights and not fogs, you will need the H13 kit, not the H11 that I posted above.

HID Xenon Convertion for fog lights

Here are some pics. Glare isn't really an issue if you go with their bulb capping service with blocks the top end of the bulb where there isn't normally light output from our halogens. I have had the lights in for months without getting flashed and I live out in the country with no streetlights...

HID Xenon Convertion for fog lights

Here is an H11 HID kit. I'm running Retro Solutions digital kit for my headlights and there is no interference with the computer or radio or anything. The owner, Todd is also excellent if you do run into any issues...

Need help with malfunctioning HID kit

This whole story begins in February of this year when I ordered Retro-Solutions' 55W Bi-Xenon Digital H13 HID kit. It arrived promptly and seemed like a good quality product. I got it installed about a week after I received it and everything went in fine. After the install, the lights fired up...

Exhaust, CAI and Tunes for a 2012 V6

I purchased the Airraid CAI and bama tune from AM. Currently I am only running the 87 octane street tune as it is winter and we have snow on the ground haha. The intake itself though is quite impressive. It seems to be built to last with high quality plastic and excellent fit. Moving on to...

what do you think about this layout for my mustang

Once again, skip the clear tails, otherwise I'd say it sounds like a pretty good plan :nice:

    Can a 6'6 man fit in a S-197 GT?

I'm 6'5" and fit in fine. If my legs were any longer they might hit the steering wheel, but the car is surprisingly roomy

GREAT stance. Its low, but still looks drivable. How do you find the handling/ ride? :nice:

Picked up some AutoGlym wax. Any good?

You'll have to let us know how it goes. I've heard good things about the shine; don't know about the longevity though. I just ordered some Wolfgang polish and sealant which is supposed to be pretty good for protection (I kinda need it up here in the cold, salty north haha)

TSB for 2011 and 2012 Ford Mustangs with cold shifting issues

Sounds like nothing on the auto trans? Mine isn't the smoothest when its really cold (< -10*C) but once it warms up, its typically very smooth.

Just dropped the rear 1" do I really need to do front?

Looks better than stock :nice: I would still lower the front just to close up the gap there. Even .5" would be good

    TPS Sensors in wheels

Mustangs didn't get TPMS from the factory until 2007. The buyer could always do an aftermarket set up though.

Dynomax is building a 2012 Mustang and wants your advice!

Don't do anything that's on the artist's rendering. Maybe change the grill, get slightly larger, lighter wheels, definitely procharger, full exhaust setup, then drop it on new springs AND shocks/ struts

    lamdo doors?

Please please please don't do lambo doors. They look terrible and I would guess most aren't going to be the greatest quality....
