    I bought it a lil over a year ago (non driveable)& had the a4ld rebuilt locally. that was when we discovered it running hot, but the bottom of the radiator was staying cool. swapped out radiator for an aluminum one from advance, along with the busted thermostat. took it back to the shop for them...

    1992 2.3L coolant temperature gauge & fan only work @ idle

    I tried searching, but couldn't find a solution. my factory coolant temp gauge only moves up to the "normal" range & the fan only comes on when the gauge moves up, but this only happens @ idle. if i let it sit & idle itself up to temp, then put it in gear the gauge drops down to the second line...

    92 2.3L vert tach & water temp gauge issues

    I was mistaken about the water temp gauge. it is still only going up just above 130 unless parked & idling. as for the plug wires, I didn't swap them from 1 coil to the other. I just swapped the front & rear placement on the front coil only. Sent from my Haxsung Moment using Tapatalk

    been away for awhile, mostly due to my failed attempts at selling my 92 2.3 vert (not that I don't like it, but need something a lil bigger so the kids can ride, too) my tach hasn't been functioning properly. it stays between 3500-4000 rpms. not really a big deal, since its an auto tranny. also...

    Howdy, y'all! I'm a 30% disabled USAF SSgt, and will soon be the proud new owner of a 92 lx convertible. It's got the 2.3 in it & needs a tranny & new top. Seller is a good friend and may be throwing in some extras as well. I'll be doing more looking and reading here than posting for a lil...
