I average about 15-16 MPG in my 01 vert around town on short trips. Hiway MPG goes up over 20. Best ever was when I drove cross country, 25.5 MPG and I was rollin' about 85-90 MPH across west TX. The R's best hiway MPG is 22.5, again doing 80+ in the wide open west. Ed

Other than the high cost, I'd say the FR500 catback would be something you'd like. I put it on my 01 and the sound is a little deeper, not much louder, and a mag review said they picked up 12 hp and tq I think. Too bad it's $599 I bought mine used for about half that. Ed

I don't notice a lot of difference between the FR500 and the stock system that was on my 01. It has a little deeper sound but isn't much louder in my opinion.

I'm hoping to move to Daytona by the end of the year. Buying a house when you don't live where you are buying, has proved to be a hassle. :bang:

There are two small plates that go on the inside of the trunk, and they spread the pressure from the attaching hardware over a larger area than just the two holes and bolts. I don't have a pic of them at the moment.

REAL Ford OEM Cobra R wheels in 2000 were 18 x 9.5" Mine all have tires on them, or I would weigh one for you.
