My 69 302 has 178K on the motor..heads have never been off. I have changed cams a coupla times and internals are super clean and still strong. Uses absolutely no oil. My question is what motor oil to use considering the hi mileage and original valves/seats. Oil was changed every 300 miles since...

Just found the answer. There is a second harness that runs back front the turn signal end of the main harness. i.E. i need 2 harness.

That's the first place I looked. Nothing other than the lead to the dist.block. Maybe I'll just have to splice into the harness at the front of the car. Thanks

i replaced the headlight harness a few years ago and the only option was with/without tach. Where does a Mach or GT have its lead connected?

I have a 69 coupe and have added the scoop with turn signals. Trying to figure the wiring. Looks like there is a harness from the hood signals..has bulbs etc. that says it connects at the firewall.My question is where? Thanks

Parting out my 76 302 Granada and just wondering if the Duraspark ignition is any better (reliable) than my stock 69 dizzy with Pertronics. No longer want performance...dependability and mileage now motivate me.

I remember a few years ago there was a post on adding a spacer to the distributor shaft on a Pertronix ignition. I believe it was on here but could not find in search. It had something to due with alignment. Does anyone know the specifics? Thanks

I got new windshields for both my 69's last summer locally at ''Glass Pro" $180 each installed.

Just wondering if the GT would have the standard or deluxe interior? As far as the coupe side scoops go, I replaced them with Shelby conv. scoops on my 69-302 and completely removed them on my 69-351C

I have the hard plastic dash covers on both my 69's . The fit is close enough that you really have to look to see that it's not a new dash. About $80 at any Mustang supplier.

I use the plastic pans that are made to go under a washing machine, they are about 27" X 27" and keep my carpeted parking area clean.

When I did the disc brake swap, I put the drum brakes and spindles off my 69 Mustang on the Granada and drove it for two years. Don't forget the proportioning valve off the Granada when you strip it.
