WTB 89 Hatchback interior trim - any color

Hey team! Been chilling with the s550 crowd for the last 15 years but just grabbed a long term 89 hatch rolling chassis for a long term project / shop car. That being said, if you or someone you know have any interior trim panels, any color, let me know! Project is naked of all interior trim...

2016 gt window opening and closing on its own

The activation is off a switch on the door latch. It may be more noticeable after a passenger gets in because they just used the door and the switch might be loose or out of adjustment on the latch mechanism and the recent use is causing it go crazy. If you have access to a decent scan tool you...

    Engine Bay and Undercarriage wash?

If you need to pressure wash your engine bay, you probably should’ve taken better care of it prior.

    Engine Bay and Undercarriage wash?

Not a bad idea but there’s no need to be blasting that much water under the hood. Steamer for the win.

    Engine Bay and Undercarriage wash?

Plus one for the steamer. Got a relatively inexpensive one from Amazon after stressing over spraying water, not to mention the fact that we have high calcium hard water out here so it would’ve required a post cleaning cleaning. Couldn’t be happier.

    S550 Supercharger gas mileage

It would be directly proportional to how much fun youre having, if youre getting on it all the time, youre going to use more fuel as the engine is getting more air from the blower. A good majority of the time you're not going to see a significant loss if youre just driving normally.

Has anyone done the auto10 swap into a 17 or older yet?

So I've already converted to the 2018 style digital dash but would really like to add the ten speed auto if its possible. Curious if anyone has seen heard or already done this.

    Line Lock

I probably wouldn’t do it all of the time due to wear and rubber on the bumper but if Ford put it in there as a factory option and warranties the power train for 5/60, one would think they’re pretty confident in allowing it to be used when needed.

2.3 Ecoboost Pings At Certain Speeds Some Of The Time

Spark knock is most often due to the quality and octane (or both) of gas or the ignition timing. The latter shouldn’t be an issue since it’s controlled by the PCM. Some less reputable places have questionable gas despite what you actually select at the pump. May want to try a national brand and...

Kinda wish I at least had that clear film paint protection on it now. And I agree, it does seem thin.

Paint and Body Body Shop Trip

So I’m down to my final two weeks of having to commute out of my hometown for work.... and on the highway this morning something clipped my door and chipped the paint. So annoyed. Don’t want to bother trying to touch it up because that’s all I’ll see forever. Then to top it off, got stuck in the...

Can't Flash Pcm For The Ford Performance Pack Tune .

A few other people have mentioned similar issues. There's a post in this forum, (read it last night) where they were able to get around it by doing a procedure where the throttle was raised to 4000 RPM after startup if I'm not mistaken. Had to do it a few times. Look at the other posts and Im...

Wipple Stage 2 Vs. Roush Phase 2

I plan on going that route as well down the road. I was initially looking into the Roush kits, then found more and more info I liked about the Whipple. When I do finally pull the trigger, I'm going with the Whipple. Little bit more money but it gets you more power.
