Here are a few pix of my new(to me) 07 Mustang GT

I was checking out the wilwood 4piston set, looks good, GT500 set is an option I was looking at, as is the Brembo set from the 11/12 5.0. I think they are basically the same set. Any of these should be an improvement over stock, without being overkill.

Just planning for now. Plan to do some autox events, so I want good stoppers that dont fade. Plus there is the look factor, bigger brakes just look better with 19s.

Is anyone running these 6piston calipers/14" rotor upgrades with 19" wheels? I tried Tirerack, even sent them the template from Baer, and they have no 19"ers that will clear the calipers. Dont want any of the Shelby 20s, just too heavy. Trying to keep wheels under 25lbs ea. :(

Follow Up... Ok so all of the overtime we were supposed to get got canceled, DARN computers worked perfectly OMFG!! So no 2012 GT. I found an 07 very clean with 25K miles for under $20K. Just waiting on a dealer transfer and I will start the paper work. Can't wait to get her home. Ill post...
