    How much Hp can an 8.8 rear end handle with after market axles? I'm hoping to push 500 to the rear wheels with my 5.0 and I was told to go with an aftermarket 9 inch from moser or strange. The 8.8 would be cheaper but will it handle 500Hp? :shrug:

    Ok so I got the motor on a stand and degreased it with purple power which worked really well. Later this week I'll post some pictures of the tear down then it will be off to the machine shop to be bored, decked, and hot tanked. I'm not sure when but the car will be getting new paint and badges

    Can I boost a 302 on a budget though what will I have to do to the bottom end. With that setup I was going to run a 150 shot because I was hoping to hit 500 to 550 hp when I hit the button. I would like to be in the low 11s high 10s range.

    I need to know where I can find a 302 long block that can safely handle as much as 1000 HP maybe more. Its for a forced induction build the only thing is I would like to know if it's cheaper to go with a 4.6 or a 302. I know the turbo kit for the 302 is cheaper that the kit for the 4.6.

    Thats the nice thing about HP and hellion they include everything. I dont think HP includes a fuel pump but Im not 100% sure.:nice:

    Ive done a decent amount of research on hp performace and their turbo kits seem like the most bang for your buck alot of people have recomended them and i plan on using one of their kits. do some research on them before you look at the price though 1996-2004 mustang turbo system
