Thanks! the heads are actually on now. The car seems a little sluggish on the bottom end and I hear some ticking from at least one of the lifters. Was thinking they may need shims. Didn't have any lifter issues before putting the heads on.

I've got an 86 with stock bottom end. My friend just ported and polished a set of E-7's for me. I had a valve job done, and they shaved them .14 thousands. Will I need to get different push rods?
