Just because it has a "40th Anniversary" badge on the side of the car does not mean it was an actual "40th Anniversary Edition." I think they did the same thing in 2004 that they did in 1999 (35th anniversary). I know in 1999, ALL Mustangs (V6s and GTs anyway) had 35th anniversary badges on...

I agree, I've always thought that was about the best looking rear bumper for the 99-04s too. Someone should definitely make those!

I am 28, and although I was young around that time, I do remember when there seemed to be 3 foxbodies to every 1 other car on the road. I don't know....I just NEVER liked them at all. I guess it's just me. But I do understand what you're saying (about the age thing). I still think the SN95...

I'm not thrilled. But I guess I'm the only one? :shrug: I thought the fox bodies from the 80s and early 90s were some of the ugliest Mustangs Ford should have aborted! They looked more like Ford Escorts than Mustangs. :barf: Personally, I think the SN95 and the NEW 2010 and up stangs...

I don't have pictures of it right now, I'll try to snap some this weekend perhaps if the weather permits. And I think I've already convinced myself on the GT-R (2000) hood. :D

Cool, because the more I look at it, the less I like the more squared cowl hoods. I even like the factory hoods (like the 2003 and 2004), but since I gotta put a hood on anyway...I'd kinda like to have something a little more unique. How does anyone think the Cobra R (2000) hood would look...

KY Also, I think my mind is playing tricks on me with some of these pictures. The Cobra R (2000) hoods are more rounded, right? Unlike how a Cowl hood is more squared?

Point taken guys. Thanks for the input. I've actually found a place online where I can get a Cobra R style hood cheaper anyway, and the more I look at them...the better they are looking. :nice: Btw, anybody have any estimates on what it SHOULD cost to have a hood painted and installed at a...
