    Lowering Spring question

    I had cut spring on my 2000 gt, finally went with H&R super sport springs and it rides 100 times better and feels like a completely different car! Don't waste time with cut springs! I also went with fox body rear shocks for the extra travel. (car is not lowered in my pic)

    Don't remember the size but if you notch out a small section of the inner fender it allows for much better access to the nut.

    with most fords, a lean bank 1 & 2 code is a vacuum leak, seems like from about 1997 to 2004, ford used some pretty crappy vacuum lines, we replace vacuum lines on ford trucks all the time when lean codes are present.

    when clearing codes at work i have noticed, we tend to see the p1000 code come up when a scan tool has been used, and then unplugged without backing out of the program and shutting the scanner off first. you may try to go to a shop you know ask them to scan the car and if no other codes are...

    I know how you feel my wife likes to take ours to work the problem is she works at Walmart and we all know what those carts can do! So when she takes it she has to part it at the end of the parking lot by the road and walk the half mile to the doors.

    whats the best way to go to lower my 2000 GT, i was going to order lowering springs, but had a friend of mine that has lowered several Mustangs, tell me if you cut one coil off all four springs, it gives a better ride than if you use lowering springs.
