Why use an Adjustable Fuel Regulator?

I had to use an AFPR to bump down my FP after I added the inline and intank 255lph pumps. Plus, it gives me an additional port to stick an electric FP gauge on.

    Superchip: Tuneable at home?

I paid $299 for the software, $100 for the chip burner (got it used) $349 for the wideband, $400 for the SNEEC datalogger, and I already had the chip from a previous dynotune.

    Superchip: Tuneable at home?

You'll need a laptop with the SCT Racer Package. I bought mine from Don95Vert and his base tune was spot on and his support was great. I would highly recommend getting the software from him if you choose to go SCT.

Poll: What type of Tune do you use and what have been your experiences.

You're right about the differences in the software. SCT's was just easier to use and most of the tuning was done for me with the base tune. All I had to do was the MAF transfer function. The Tweecer had a steep learning curve and I just couldn't get it. There is a major price difference...

Poll: What type of Tune do you use and what have been your experiences.

I didn't really have any problems when it came to getting help with the Tweecer. I was actually able to call Mike Glover a couple of times and he was helpful. I've also been to EECTuning.org and they've been very helpful there too. The thing that made me go with the PRP was the base tune and...

Poll: What type of Tune do you use and what have been your experiences.

I use the SCT Pro Racer Package. I was a Tweecer R/T user and liked that too. I went with SCT because of the support that you get with the PRP. Henry

Going to Re-DDyno my Kenne Bell 01 Cobra tomorrow

He might not see more torque than horsepower. He's got a mod motor and it's only 281 ci versus your car which is 302. I had a Paxton blown 99 Cobra and I saw 455.5 rwhp and 381.1 rwtq. On my 95 Cobra, I made 395 rwhp and 415 rwtq. Now the KB should give him more torque than the Paxton though.

    cobra owners here

I had someone, who visited my webpage, email me, and chastise me for modding my car. He was like, "Oh, you've got the last year of the 5.0 Cobra......your car is only 1 of 1003 convertibles....you ruined it by modding it so much.......you should have got a GT and did all that to it......you...

how much is too much for a cobra????

Wait until you see the prices for the convertible Cobras. I paid $14.5K for mine in April of 2002. It had 44,000 miles. It now has 59K miles. I was so pissed when I saw a hardtop convertible sell for $13.5K a year ago. I was kicking myself for not waiting. I bet if I waited though, I would...

I am new to this forum and have a few questions about my '93 Cobra

With 6lbs of boost on a stock 95 Cobra motor, I made 346 rwhp and 376 rwtq. I had headers, Borla catback, catted h-pipe, Pro-M 75mm meter, 36 lbs injectors, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, 70mm throttle body, MSD igntion, and that was it. I had no chip. I used my AFPR and a timing gun to...

    What does pinging sound like?

It can also sound like static electricity. You'll know detonation when you hear it. It's one of the scariest sounds in the world. Henry
